Iguazu Falls from Helicopter, Brazil
Iguazu Falls is on the border of Argentina and Brazil and is one of the most spectacular sights on Earth. Iguazu Falls consists of over 275 waterfalls in both countries, over a 1 1/2 mile stretch of the Iguazu River. More than twice as much water flows over Iguazu Falls as Niagara Falls. When translated from the native Indian language, Iguazu roughly means "Big Water".
The horseshoe shaped section at the beginning of the falls is called the Devil's Throat. The most spectacular way to see the falls is from the air. Helicopter tours are available on the Brazilian side, and are restricted to Brazilian airspace.
These unique images have been distilled from hundreds of digital photo downloads shot from two cameras while we were over the falls for over an hour.
