Professional photographers Margie and Bill have been creating memorable photos for nearly 50 years. They have traveled the globe to capture the most unusual and exotic subjects and, as a result, have produced galleries featuring exciting and beautiful digital photographic art. Margie has been making photographs - all over the globe - since a trip to Australia , Indonesia (including Bali) Malaysia , Japan , the Philippines , Fiji , Hawaii , and Cambodia in the mid 1960’s. In the past decade , she has stepped up her game , photographing with Bill , and participating in photography classes on location and in the classroom with some world class photographers ( see below).

Currently residents of Arizona, they previously worked and lived in the Oregon Wine Country and Sun Valley, Idaho. In addition to their extensive photographic training, Margie is a UCLA graduate with a Master’s in Education while Bill is a graduate of Dartmouth and holds a law degree. While Margie and Bill have shot in some of the most breathtaking locations in the world, including Australia, Indonesia, Bali, Japan, Fiji, and recently Antarctica, their most unique images are a result of their artistic and technical ability. Browsing through their galleries allows you to experience these sites while enjoying dramatic and creative photographic fine art.

Bill began taking pictures with a Mamiya Sekor SLR in the late 1950s. After experimenting with a variety of formats, he converted to one of the first Nikon digital SLR’s in late 2002 after returning from Tibet, Mt. Everest, China, Cambodia and Thailand with over 50 rolls of 36 exposure film. Many of those spectacular images are being digitized and will be available soon at this site. Camerawise currently , it is Nikon versus Canon. Bill uses Nikon and Margie uses Canon. Which is better? It’s not resolved yet , but duplicating all those lenses is expensive. Both Margie and Bill use full frame DSLR cameras. Bill shoots with a Nikon D4, while Margie prefers the Canon 5D Mark III. Bill’s favorite lens is the Nikkor F2.8-14-24 and Margie’s is the Canon EF 24-70-F2.8L. However, they both use Singh Ray filters, Really Right Stuff ballheads and clamps as well as Gitzo tripods. While traveling, they take advantage of Think Tank or Lowepro bags.
